Our Chamber exists to help you and your business. Most professionals would agree that all the marketing and network opportunities, provided by the chamber, are necessary to establish and maintain relationships, keep current on information and services, and enable the membership to interact in providing community awareness and participation.

Marketing & Networking Opportunities
CHAMBER COFFEES - The monthly coffees are held from 8:15 - 9:30 a.m. every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. We encourage our members to bring information about their company to share with others. The coffees are designed to promote interaction between all the businesses who are Chamber members. We have a drawing at each coffee for Chamber Bucks. Chamber Bucks are certificates for money that can be spent in Giles County. There is an opportunity for members to win $50 if they attend the coffee. We also have another drawing at the 4th Wednesday coffee. This is for a member's business to be drawn to be spotlighted in our monthly newsletter and on our website. The coffees are an excellent time to exchange business cards, promote upcoming events, discuss business opportunities and meet and greet new members.
BUSINESS AFTER HOURS - Conducted quarterly. Much like the morning coffee, in that it is an excellent time to network. The hosts are determined by membership sign up.
CHAMBER NEWS - Published monthly, this newsletter keeps on top of the latest happenings in the business community. New members and their sponsors are recognized. The current chamber projects and concerns are featured. Circulation and distribution is 500+, at this time.
BULK MAILING - As a Chamber member, your business may use the Chamber's bulk mailing stamp and pay approximately 10-cents less per letter. Certain guidelines apply --call the office before having your mail-out printed.
FREE BUSINESS SEMINARS - Offered to Chamber membership periodically.
MAILING LABELS - Available to Chamber members only, updated lists are printed by name and address, then sorted by zip code or alphabetically.
BROCHURE DISPLAY - The reception area of the chamber office is the location for hundreds of brochures and pamphlets provided by local businesses, tourist resorts, historical areas, and a variety of establishments throughout the southeast. Over 1500 newcomers and visitors take advantage of this chamber service annually.
CUSTOMER LEADS - Let us put you in touch with new customer leads monthly through our potential newcomer list. Reach these potential customers as they arrive, or even before.
MEDIA MOMENTS - The Chamber, in cooperation with Pulaski Publishing, produces a tabloid featuring the chamber activities throughout the year. The board of directors are presented, along with a biography of their community efforts. Articles are written highlighting the past year efforts and the projected goals for the upcoming year. Features include comments of the Executive Director, incoming president, outgoing president and the chamber membership banquet. Members are given the opportunity to advertise. Combined circulation reaching Giles Countians is approximately 14,200.
CHAMBER MEMBER REFERRALS - The Chamber staff receives thousands of inquiries each year on where to shop, eat, bank, stay, and much more. We support Chamber members because you support us.
MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY - Often referred to as the bible of the chamber, the membership directory contains information essential to the heartbeat of the organization. Members are listed alphabetically by name and also by business as a cross-reference tool. Published yearly, the directory serves as a guide to newcomers to the area, industrial prospects and instant location of an address or phone number to the bearer. It serves the membership as a reference when doing business since we are as members encouraged to do business with each other. It also serves as an annual report to the community. Some parts of the directory may also be found on the chamber's Internet homepage.
"GILES COUNTY EXPO" - Enjoy terrific public exposure as an annual exhibitor at the best of the county business, industrial and education show. Each exhibit displays products and services offered by many of the participating chamber members. This show has a history of attracting interested citizens throughout on this evening event.
AMBASSADOR PROGRAM - Chamber members make new contacts and recruit new members every day. During the membership banquet, an "Ambassador of the Year" will be honored and the Ambassadors choose their own "Ambassador Choice Award". The function of this program is to make public relation calls on other Chamber members to promote the Chamber and your own respective business as well. They also act as greeters at chamber events; help with grand openings of new businesses and assist special events such as the EXPO. An organized ambassador program is underway, thanks to the organization of the Chamber Coordination Committee.
EXCEL- This program recognizes high school students for their outstanding performance and is sponsored by the Chamber and the Pulaski Retail Merchants Association. Participating members have EXCEL decals displayed on the doors of their business.
INTERNET ADVERTISING - Each member is listed FREE on the Chamber's web page on the classified page. In addition, members having web pages may buy connections to their own web site from the Chamber page.
NOTARY PUBLIC - The Chamber notarizes documents for Chamber members only, FREE of charge.
MANUFACTURER'S GUIDE - This guide lists pertinent information about the major manufacturers and service industries in Giles County. The cost is $5.00 in advance but FREE to members.
RIBBON CUTTINGS - Available FREE to Chamber members.
SMALL BUSINESS COUNSELING - Appointments may be arranged through the Chamber office for private counseling with counselors from the Small Business Development Center.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR ADVERTISING - Only members are offered the opportunity to advertise in the Giles County Viewbook, Chamber News newsletter, and the Chamber 911 map.
