The Giles County Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit organization designed to meet our community's needs. It is a voluntary organization of individuals and businesses that cooperate to advance the commercial, financial, industrial, agricultural, retail, tourism and civic interests of Giles County. We unite in a common cause of progress. We are active in all areas of interest to the county, whether it is educational, commercial, civic, industrial or the service sector. The Chamber promotes a more favorable climate for new and existing businesses; increases the economic potential and standard of living for all area citizens; and provides a clearinghouse for community ideas, activities, and information.
Giles County is a great place to raise a family in a small town atmosphere. We have a strong economic base with six Fortune 500 companies and two Fortune 100 companies. It is also home to Martin Methodist College, a quality 4-year Liberal Arts College founded in 1870.
